    The next thing is to do your own research. There is so much information available online, start googling a few questions like: what is the best scanner to purchase if I want to print in-house or what printer is the best for a beginner. As you learn more, you will have more questions.

  • 4. How do I get started with Evident?

    Getting started is easy. Go to: https://hub.evidentdigital.com/ to create your free account. Once logged in, you can learn about all of the treatments we have available and what files you need to get started. For most treatments all you need is a patient scan in STL format.

  • 5. What is your turnaround time for your cases?

    Please refer to this chart here to see our turnaround times and required files for each treatment.

  • 6. Who can send their cases to evident?

    We offer both dental lab design services and dentist design services. Because the needs of dentists and labs are so different, we have different portals for each. If you are a lab, please call us at 1 (877) 909 7770 to set up your design account.

  • 7. How much are your treatments?

    To see our price list, you will need to create a free account and login. Our price list is located in the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner.

  • 8. Do you offer fabrication services?

    The only thing we fabricate are aligners. For everything else, you get back a digital file that is ready to be fabricated. If you are looking for a fabrication partner, let us know and we can connect you with a reputable partner in our network.

    For aligners, if you choose to have us fabricate them for you, you will receive patient ready aligners delivered directly to you.

  • 9. How to use the Hub to order a treatment?

    You can check out our extensive training video library to learn everything from how to create an account to how to communicate with your CAD designer. You can find the videos on our YouTube Channel here or log into your free Hub account and all the videos are located in the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner.

  • 10. Where do I see my completed cases?

    Once you login to your account, click on “Track Cases” and your list of cases will be there. You can filter by the different stages of the case. Click on “Completed” to see completed cases only.

  • 11. How do I request a redesign?

    If your case has new requirements or you need to make a change to the design, you can submit your case for a redesign. Login in to your account and click Track Cases. Select “Download Design” on the case you want redesigned. Once you are in the case, you will see a big red Redesign button.

  • 12. How do I communicate with my designer?

    You can communicate directly with your designer at any time. Log into your account and click Track Cases. Identify the case you need to discuss and then click on the blue envelope to start a conversation.

  • 13. What is the difference between a prebooked and a rush case?

    A prebooked case is when you schedule your case in advance. This service works well for doctors who need a case back at a specific time to align with a patient appointment for same day smile design or large complex cases. Fee: $50/case. Contact us directly to prebook your case.

    A rush case is not prebooked. This is when you need a case back between 2-5 hours. Fee: $5/unit. Select the rush button when submitting your treatment order.

These digital files can then be used to guide the production of physical restorations using CAM (computer-aided manufacturing) techniques, such as milling or 3D printing.

  • 2. What is your turnaround time?

    Our standard turnaround time is 24 hours; however, please give us a call as we have other options available.

  • 3. What products do you design?

    We offer everything from crown & bridge to implants and ortho. Please reach out to us for more details and how we can help labs with CAD designs.

  • 4. Do you fabricate?

    We do not fabricate cases ourselves, but we do have a network of fabrication partners that we can refer you to.

  • 5. How does billing work?

    For our standard per unit charge, we take your credit card details and bill you on the 1st and 16th of every month. If you have prepaid for your units, you will be charged monthly on the 1st of every month.

  • 6. Tell me more about your pre-payment option for design work

    For qualifying labs, prepaying refers to the option of paying in advance for your CAD designs. When you send your first case to Evident, you will be asked if you would like to prepay for your units.

    By prepaying, you can lock in a more favorable rate for your design work. When you create your free evident account, you will be sent a pricelist outlining the differences in the pricing tiers (Hint: think 50% off single units)!

    Here are a few other points about prepaying for your units:

    Once you have used up your full prepay amount, any additional work will be charged at the prepay rate. At the end of the month you will get an invoice for any extra units.
    The prepaid amount does not roll over at the end of the month. Any unused amount will not be carried forward, so it's recommended to utilize the prepaid amounts within the designated timeframe.
    If you wish to move away from pre-paying for your units, you need to provide one week's notice before the next billing cycle. Please contact Evident at support@evidentdigital.com and inform them about your decision to transition to the standard pricing structure.
    If you choose to pre-pay for your units mid-month, you will not be charged the full $299. Instead, you will be charged a prorated amount based on the number of working days remaining in the month.

  • 7. What software do you design on?

    We design on both exocad and 3shape, along with Cerec InLab and 3D Orchestrate for Ortho.

  • 8. How are you different from other design centers?

    At Evident, we build a CAD team around you. We learn your preferences to know what a good case looks like to you. The same group of designers work on your case every time you sent. You also get an Evident Concierge who QCs all your cases to make sure they carry your signature touch. They maintain a constant communication with you to make sure you get your cases your way.

    You can get started with lab CAD designs by creating your Evident account and logging in to the design portal to order your first case.

  • 11. Can we edit the designs once they are completed?

    Yes! we can send you the project file, stl, html (only for exocad) and even screenshots, indicate what files you want to receive back in the preferences section of the design portal.

    We are available 24 hours a day, 6 days a week.

    Yes, we have a dentist portal where you can have your doctors submit a case and pay their invoices (on time!).

    Please give us a call so we can review your storage options and make sure you are properly covered with your other options.

    Files after one week will be deleted.
